[ Knowing about other versions of herself who made different choices was actually quite confusing. Not the aspect of their existence but how easy it was to relate to their decisions followed by wondering why she never thought of that. Now that Kasumi was telling her these things about Garrus, Shepard felt familiar with them. They weren't bad choices. It was as if she completely, only now, understood those choices.
On the other hand, it felt pretty awkward that a woman she barely knew was able to tell her this personal business. She found herself wondering where the decision to not meet Kasumi appeared in her own timeline. ]

[ Steam would've very much needed to be blown if she was forced to stroll around the galaxy in a Cerberus ship, not to mention having to face Miranda every day. ]
